These will be Seger and the Silver Bullets' first live dates since finishing the Ride Out Tour on March 30, 2015 in Indianapolis.
Seger's "2017 Runaway Train Tour" begins August 24 in Toledo and concert dates are set for September 7 at the Dow Events Center in Saginaw and September 19 at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, according to Mlive.
The arena's social media accounts are billing the show as "last time at PPG Paints Arena".
The group's 24-date Runaway Train Tour gets under way close to home, on August 24 at the Huntington Center in Toledo.
The second show is his already-sold-out show at the DTE Energy Music Theatre.
Heart guitarist Nancy Wilson will also perform at select shows. Tickets go on sale to the general public on June 9.
The Runaway Train concert tour comes just as Bob Seger is set to reissue his 1994 Greatest Hits and his 1969 debut album, Ramblin' Gamblin' Man.
Seger's "Greatest Hits" album was certified diamond by the RIAA for achieving 10 million units sold in the US earlier this week. The double LP will be released on 180-gram vinyl and is scheduled to hit stores this Friday.
