'Guardians of the Galaxy 3' movie confirmed by director James Gunn

His casting doesn't feel like one that will reappear in another MCU film because of his relationship with Gunn, so you'd have to imagine he's less significant than Stallone.

Director James Gunn confirmed the news to Complex, saying that, "there will be a Guardians 3, that's for sure".

As he has been making the rounds to promote The Belkin Experiment, a film he wrote and produced about a group of office workers forced to kill each other, Gunn has revealed precious few details about Stallone's involvement. It is hinted that Stallone's role in the film is important in the Marvel comic universe.

As for which characters they may be playing, it's hard to speculate. James Gunn has just revealed that he and Smallville's former Lex Luthor, Michael Rosenbaum are both key figures, no matter how much screen time they have.

"I think will people find out very, very soon", he continued. According to writer-director James Gunn, Baby Groot became a "better-written character" after his breakout popularity. My friend Michael Rosenbaum also has a pretty decent role in the movie as well, and it sort of works in tandem with Sly's character.

CBR.com reported that Rosenbaum will also be a new cast that will join in the "Guardians of the Galaxy" Vol. 2. "It's a very important part of the Marvel cosmic universe".

Set to the backdrop of "Awesome Mixtape #2, ' Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2continues the team's adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos". It seems that fans of the film need wait when the film is aired. One thing that will no doubt fuel conversation online is the inclusion of Karen Gillan's Nebula, who can be seen rubbing shoulders with the Guardians and, perhaps most interesting of all, her estranged sister Gamora (Zoe Saldana) up above. The Guardians are aware that the Infinity Stones and Star-Lord originally hail from Earth.
