Michael Bisping vs. Luke Rockhold

The rematch will give Bisping a chance to redeem himself and finally achieve the goal of becoming a UFC champion.

In the main event of UFC 199, middleweight champion Luke Rockhold put his belt on the line against Michael Bisping.

After relinquishing his middleweight title to Bisping, Rockhold - a heavy favorite heading into the fight - vowed revenge is the most severe of ways.

Looks like Michael Bisping and Luke Rockhold's sparring session continued after Saturday's UFC fight. Bisping strolled to the cage with more confidence than ever, even though his customary choice of Blur's "Song 2" remained unchanged.

And it didn't end there! The two then traded profanities before Bisping called Rockhold a "faggot".

The fight began with the duo trading kicks before the Englishman felled Rockhold with a left to the jaw, but he managed to scramble back to his feet. Bisping has fashioned a profitable UFC career as a flamboyant English bad boy, yet he had never been given a title fight after 25 trips to the octagon.

Also on the card on Saturday night is a trilogy fight between bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz and his long-time nemesis Urijah Faber - and the pair have not fallen behind the middleweights in the trash-talking stakes. "I just have to reach out and touch it. It's right there".

"I always knew I had the punching power and was capable of doing this". "I chose you". So you didn't choose Jacare. "And I always felt that I was capable of doing this". This is my dream and no one was taking this away from me. I feel like I'm still the best in the game, and I will prove that any time. After 10 years of just trying to get a UFC title shot, the veteran is now the champion after one of the biggest upsets in MMA title history. Bisping caught Rockhold with a left hand and knocked Rockhold down. "This is the opportunity that I wanted against this guy".

"He had a ideal fight, so I can't say anything", Faber, 37, said, hinting at retirement afterward.

Florian said Cruz has done a great job on improving his strengths and solving his weaknesses, evident in his avenging the only loss of his career in the 2011 rematch Faber.

"What can I say?"

ROCKHOLD: "I will come back and f***ing kill you". "It's a passion for me to be on the top and tonight I was not on the top".
