Luke Rockhold overcame Chris Weidman to clinch the UFC middleweight title last December.
Bisping, 37, seemed pretty cold to an immediate rematch with Rockhold when it was brought up, though he said he'd be glad to give Rockhold that shot down the road.
Rockhold, a verbally gifted promoter himself, has promised a first-round finish amid countless unflattering descriptions of Bisping's abilities and attitudes.
"I shook your hand, and you said "I already shook your hand" and you told me to f**k off", Bisping yelled.
And it didn't end there! Bisping is not much of a grappler, but he is a tough guy that keeps coming. "I really, really have felt the support from the United Kingdom, it's part of the reason why I'm here right now". I have always been a fighter, it always got me in trouble. You have to know what you're going to do. Obviously I didn't respect him enough.
"If I lose this, I'll never get a shot again", Bisping said.
Dominic Cruz also won at UFC 199 to defend his bantamweight title at the first attempt, beating Urijah Faber via unanimous decision.
Dubbed as a massive underdog entering UFC 199, "The Count" needed barely 90 seconds to dispose of now former-champion Luke Rockhold. "I see a devastating knockout and it's just a matter of what I'm going to knock him out with".
Weidman lost his belt and his pristine professional record when Rockhold ground and pounded him to a bloody pulp in the co-main event of UFC 194.
It's a fun, but ultimately pointless pursuit since: (a) there are plenty of role players with more rings that countless superstars in every sport, and (b) winning a title in any sport, whether as a team or individual, is really damn hard and this approach ignores that.
Florian said Cruz has done a great job on improving his strengths and solving his weaknesses, evident in his avenging the only loss of his career in the 2011 rematch Faber. Best fighter in the world at that weight class and held the title for years.
Somewhere in the late evening, a friend texted me that Brock Lesnar had returned for UFC 200. Four fights from the preliminary card will air live on Fox Sports 1 at 5, with the remaining bouts streaming online on Fight Pass at 3.
Cruz responded: 'I was out and I came back and got the belt while you were still competing, that's sad man.
