Since there are several titles coming soon, Square Enix might be holding back in the Final Fantasy 7 Remake to avoid players having too much games to play, and possibly backlogging other titles instead. The game has been built from the ground up to be a Final Fantasy for the mobile market; only, rather than previous games in the franchise, Square Enix turned to Brave Frontier developer A-Lim to make something more suitable for the market.
The new game, from the Final Fantasy series, is hoping to turn that around.
"Harnessing the power of the crystals, mankind prospered, nations flourished. So begins a new tale of crystals and the heroes who would save them". It will follow the adventures of two knights from the Grandshelt Kingdom called Rain and Lasswell. Those who signed up for the game prior to its release via the Brave Exvius website will be given in-game bonuses now that the game has launched.
When the interviewer dropped the bait, inquiring why there is a current absence of information about the "Final Fantasy 7" remake, Nomura countered that he could not offer any specifics but assured everyone that a massively significant news concerning the game will come soon and they will arrive in multitudes, UniversityHerald wrote. Therefore, the development team eyes a one-time big time revelation of "Final Fantasy 7".
World of Final Fantasy, Square Enix's upcoming RPG celebrating Final Fantasy's long and storied history, is coming out for PS4 and Vita on October 25th. The latter is a pretty huge game so Square Enix has had its hands full these past few years and since it'll finally launch it this September, the developer might have freed up time time to focus on the development of the remake. There are also rumors that Final Fantasy XV is headed for a PC release as well.
