When she died in July 2015 at age 22, her cause of death was ruled a combination of drug intoxication and drowning.
"It wasn't me who started her", said Brown. I thank God I'm still here.
Brown also says he and Houston could have better protected late daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown from their chaotic world: "We should have been better".
Rumours swirled that the women were in a relationship, something they both denied - however, Bobby reckons this was because Whitney's mum Cissy disapproved.
It seems unlikely that Bobbi Kristina was not affected by her parents non-stop drug use.
Bobbi Kristina's conservator, Bedelia Harvgrove, filed a $10 million wrongful death lawsuit against Gordon.
His pregnant wife and manager Alicia Etheredge-Brown told Roberts, "When you're living with somebody who has fought so many addictions and has come so far and then you see there is still something holding them back... you just want to help them". There's only one person that was around both occasions, he knows what happened.
"We should have been better", he continued, referring to Houston's mothering as well.
"We have repeatedly said that Nick Gordon is innocent of any wrongdoing".
Bobby Brown recalls the first time he saw Whitney Houston partake in drugs.
It's not the first time such information has been revealed in relation to Whitney Houston's romantic past, with many-a-rumour lingering about her involvement with Crawford. "I was like, "You keep bumpin" into me.' And I kept [telling her]".
Now that his daughter is gone, Brown believes she is with her mother. She went into a coma and died six months later. "Daddy'll be all right. I only wish he had loved and respected her enough to make some of the negative statements about her and Krissi while Whitney was alive and able to respond from her perspective". Kristina's friend, Daphne Barak, continues to play the last voicemail her friend left before her passing. I pray for the family. I think if anyone ever knew us, if anybody ever spent time around us instead of time looking through the bubble, they would know how we felt about each other.
